Anyone that has access to the internet at the moment (and is interested in makeup) has likely heard of Becca's shimmering skin perfectors. If you are interested in the beauty side of youtube (which is crazily addictive) then you definitely would have also heard of the collaboration between Becca and Jaclyn Hill which created the shimmering skin perfector in champagne pop.

If you haven't ever heard of Jaclyn Hill then I will just tell you that she is an amazing YouTuber and you should definitely look her up. To make this product Jaclyn was lucky enough to pair up with Becca to create a new limited edition shade, champagne pop, to add to the already amazing list of Becca shimmering skin perfectors. Becca describes the pressed shimmering skin perfectors as "a creamy powder luminizer that absorbs and reflects light for a superb natural glow," and champagne pop does exactly that.

I haven't tried any other Becca products before this but I can say I was instantly impressed with how soft and buttery this product is. The gentlest of swipes gives amazing pigmentation that glides easily over the skin. To keep this review simple and easy to read I will get into a list of the pros and cons, and some swatches of the product below:

Pros:
- Insanely buttery formula with great pigmentation
- Blends easily into the skin
- Gorgeous colour that gives a really nice golden glow

Cons:
- Expensive. I picked this product up for $60 aud at Sephora Australia (ouch).
- If not applied carefully the product can highlight pores and imperfections.

Just a touch of champagne pop on my cheek bones gives a warm luminous glow (excuse the bad lighting, poor skin texture and comfy tee.)

Overall Thoughts: This highlighter really is gorgeous. It gives a lovely sun kissed golden glow to the face when used carefully. It has great pigmentation, but because of this it can be a little tricky to apply and it is easy to apply too much. To buy this in Australia it is pretty pricey, however it is very pretty and I would say it is well worth it.

Overall, if you are in the market for a new highlighter or are collecting Becca highlighters then I would definitely recommend this one. However, if you do already have a good collection of Becca shimmering skin perfectors then apparently mixing moonstone and opal gives an exact dupe of the shade so that could be a good option.

If you have tried this product or any of the other Becca shimmering skin perfectors then please let me know what you think of them in comments below. Also feel free to ask me any questions if you are unsure if this is the right product for you.

El xo
